Questions, answered.
- How do I get discovered?
- Complete your profile — photo, headline, bio, skills and at least one project. Discover ranks and filters on those fields, so an empty profile is an invisible one.
- Who can see my profile?
- Public profiles are visible to anyone, including search engines, which is what makes your afglinked.com link worth sharing. You can switch visibility at any time in settings.
- What is the verified badge?
- It means we've confirmed a person or company is who they say they are. You can request verification from your settings; we review each request by hand.
- How do opportunities work?
- Anyone with a profile can post a job, funding call, cofounder search or project. Applying sends your profile to the poster — no résumé upload, no forms to retype.
- Can I use AFGLinked in Dari or Pashto?
- Yes. Switch language in settings; the interface flips to right-to-left automatically.
- My connection is slow. Can I make it lighter?
- Turn on Lite mode in settings. It drops animations and heavy visuals while keeping everything readable and usable.
- Someone is behaving badly. What do I do?
- Use Report on their profile or the content itself, and block them if you'd rather not be contacted. Reports go to our moderation team, not to the person reported.
