Privacy
Your data, plainly explained.
What we collect
Your account email, everything you choose to put on your profile, and basic usage signals such as profile views and messages you send. We do not ask for national ID numbers, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.
What is public
If your profile visibility is public, your name, headline, bio, skills, work and links are visible to anyone and may be indexed by search engines. Your email address, saved items, notifications and messages are never public.
How we use it
To show your profile, power search and matching, deliver messages and notifications, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your data or run third-party ad tracking.
Messages
Direct messages are private between participants. They are stored so you can read them later, and may be reviewed only when someone files a report about a specific conversation.
Safety and diaspora sensitivity
Many of our members have reasons to control their visibility. You can hide your profile, restrict what is shown, block anyone, and use a display name that differs from your legal name.
Your control
Edit or remove anything on your profile at any time. Deleting your account removes your profile, work, applications and connections. Some records may persist briefly in backups before ageing out.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and local storage for preferences such as language and Lite mode. No advertising cookies.
